Odd
We have to pay our bills, in cash, at the bank. A specific bank and not always the same one. The phone is paid at the bank at the embassy. My hubby got busy and missed the due date by a few days. He went to the bank to pay and they wouldn't take the money. They told him he had to wait 'til he got next months bill and pay then. But if you miss more than 2 payments well... then you lose service. The day after the bank turned away our money, I know CRAZY, we got an automated call saying our bill was late and the amount owed. Great thanks... NOW can I pay it? Um, NO, next month... just don't be late!

that is really odd!!! i have never heard of turning money AWAY! how much is your fee going to be for being late? did they tell you that?? very interesting how other countries work. do you have to do this (cash, different banks) for safety reasons??
yikes!
Steph, I don't think it's for safety. But I think I was a bit unclear. Each bill goes to the same bank each month but not all the bills can be paid at the same bank. Like the phone is at BancoColombia, kids school Columena, the internet at Davidienda etc. I can't just pick a bank and pay them all at the same time. I do know where all the banks are in this city now!
